6-10 Tonne Mechanical Excavator Grapple
The mechanical excavator grapple is an economical solution for light weight and general purpose applications. Ideal for farms, small holdings and agricultural contractors for clearing wood, rocks and brash. The JB mechanical excavator grab is also well suited for skip waste, land clearance and general forestry applications.
The JB Equipment Manual Excavator grab is a popular budget choice for sorting and handling applications. The MG6 is best suited to excavators from 6 tonne to 8 tonne such as a JCB8080 or Kubota KX080.
The crowd function of the bucket ram is used to operate the opening and closing of the grab so no internal hydraulics are required. Unlike the smaller models in this range the MG6 uses a heavy duty tube design to connect the 4 tine side of the grab to welded plate on the dipper arm.
Supplied as 3 part kit; grab (with 2 pin linkage to suit excavator), weld on dipper pad and link arm.
Extra strengthening straps welded to the side of each of the tines increases strength to stop bending when in use. Fully grease-able pivot points and line bore machining give the manual grab an excellent service life.
