12-16 Tonne Bear Claw Excavator Forestry Grab – BC570
The Bear Claw forestry grabs are engineered specifically for the UK and Irish markets, featuring heavy duty HB450 reinforced legs, internal guide bars, high pressure cylinders, line bored pivot areas, bushes and hardened greaseble pins throughout. The BC570 is the heaviest model currently in the Bear Claw range weighing in at 610kg (excluding hitch / headstock). It is the go to model for all 13/14 tonne excavators such as a Volvo EC140 or JCB JS130 that are running with industry standard 65mm pin quick hitches (other pin measurements can be supplied)
This grab is supplied in either a non-rotating / fixed configuration which simply operates off the excavators double acting hydraulic hammer circuit, or alternatively with a full 360 degree rigid rotation unit (twin auxiliary services required on the excavator). Please note that hydraulic hoses are not included as standard with this grab.
The BC570 non-rotating / fixed configuration is supplied with a standard 2 pin quick headstock or two way cross link (depending on the excavator) enabling the grab to be used in either orientation. Rotating models are supplied with a high quality forestry specification rotator and standard 2 pin head stock.
